2006 Summer Northeast Assistance and P2 Roundtable Meeting

The Northeast Assistance and Pollution Prevention Roundtable summer workshop and meeting was held on Wednesday, June 14 - Thursday, June 15 at the Mystic Marriott Hotel in Groton, CT. The Roundtable included a one-day workshop on improving survey design, conducted a site visit to the Mohegan Sun Casino, shared program updates and news, discussed successful models and challenges with integrating energy efficiency into environmental assistance and P2 activities, discussed program measurement issues and challenges, and discussed future regional Roundtable priorities. The survey design workshop was led by staff from Abt Associates. During the site visit, participants had an opportunity to learn about various successful projects that Mohegan Sun has implemented to reduce their energy use at their facilities and some other interesting environmental projects. There was a group dinner at the casino on Wednesday night.
