MeasurementNEWMOA helped state environmental programs and grocers develop methods and tools to estimate the outcomes from sustainable practices. This initiative supports government programs that conducted outreach and assistance to grocers and recognized sustainable achievements. The intent was to improve their ability and those of their clients to calculate the environmental impacts of their sustainability efforts, and thereby strengthen the programs and expand adoption of sustainable practices. This initiative helped participants to communicate the impacts of their work to policy makers, customers, and other stakeholders. NEWMOA's sustainable grocers metrics methodology, From Behavior Change to Environmental Outcomes In Sustainable Grocers: Sustainable Grocers Measurement Methodology, was published in May 2015. This Project are funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange (P2Rx™).For more information, contact Andy Bray at . | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
